Happy happy joy joy joy joy joy joy joy!!!!

_ahem_

I am actively trying to forget the 3rd of December date for uni results.. what was that date again?…. Doh! Darn my auto-scan-reading eyes!

Anyway, I have decided for this year not to do summer school and instead be able to concentrate on fun and frivolous things like watching movies I have been meaning to watch for ages, finishing the current eps of Stargate Atlantis, Jeremiah and even a smattering of Iron Chef thrown in for good measure. Oh, and Star Trek Enterprise too. Can’t forget that! All while trying to finish off one of my cross-stitch kits. Kinda hard to do when watching anime or other subtitled movies. Speaking of which, saw ‘Wing Chun’ recently http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111800/ which has Michelle Yeoh in it. Pretty cool movie. Oh, and saw ‘Around the world in 80 days’ and loved the Richard Branson cameo in it. What a cool boss! :)

What else? I might actually start going to the gym downstairs at work – you know, with the membership and all. Lol! It remains to be seen I guess. I don’t really have a good history with gyms. If it were a boy/relationship, everyone would think I was constantly on the rebound after finishing a string of unsuccessful romances. I start off all excited, with the best of intentions, and then the interest just dies away. I mean, how can I possibly remain true to a..um.. gym… if we don’t have anything in common? I’m not one for being dehydrated and in pain. Now if there were a gym that could entertain me, while giving me a good cardio workout without the pain and dehydration, now that would be a different story. Something more like a pilates/yoga workout. Maybe I should find a good pilates place again – I didn’t mind that too much. Combine that with some meditation and I could really be doing good things for myself. You know, all that hippy crap! Usually of the tree-hugging kind.

Other big news is that Heidi is going to be moving to Canberra for a new job. That’s a pretty big move for her and Jason. I guess I have until Feb next year to harrass them. Thank god for industry rates! Time for me to use that staff travel and who knows? I might finally be able to see some real snow! :) Uh, I mean, of course I will come to visit them regularly! But I am so proud of her. All grow’d up and all now. Hopefully able to advise me on all that legal crap that I have never taken the time to learn or understand…. (’of course I was under the speed limit office!’) Although it does annoy me that she can’t sign JP documents for me. You can never find a JP when you want one. Actually, there are some people at work that could help. Yay for big companies!

I still tend to over-indulge in smelly things (namely Lush and Dusk, and sometimes even the Body Shop!). I guess it works out cheaper than being a perfume hussy/appreciator! Lol! The place is littered with candles, and the bathroom is full of salts, bombs, bubble baff, soaps and stuff. I must say, the Pure Fiji range of toiletries is just gorgeous! Especially the starfruit body butter. Mmmm… Starfruit… Oh, and Lush bath bombs are the best. Actually, almost everything about Lush is very, very cool! The funky soaps, long lasting shampoo bars and the luscious Alkmaar soap are very more-ish. But the bath bombs are the best. I love the Summer Breeze one with its little flowers. You just need to inhale the scent deeply and suddenly I feel relaxed and happy. I just need to convince Nathan of this too! :D We tried a ginger-ish one too and that was pretty nice. I really should try to make my own though. I just know that mine would never stay in the correct shape! I tried to make one from a kit once and it remained in crumbled form. I pretended that it was supposed to be like that!

Have I forgotten about that uni results date yet? Doh, no!

Am going to a Gilmore Girls fest tomorrow night. Should be good, from what I have seen of it so far. I like the banter that they have. Not something I could ever imagine me and my mother doing, unless it involved a strong chinese accent, and many ay-yas! Oh, and the occasional ‘respect your elders’ thrown in for good measure. Yeah, Respec….
