Just call me Rory…  0

After much deliberation (ha!), and a great upheaval of things at work, I have decided to go back to uni and complete my IT degree. I rang the uni and they were able to reinstate me with all my credit, which means I have to do another 10 subjects before I finally graduate. That will be a proud day! The funny thing is, like all things, I decided to do this almost on the spur of the moment. So much for weighing and balancing things!

I have no idea how I am going to keep myself organised but somehow I will manage. I will have to sniff many Perfect Potion products to keep myself calm and focused (the Buzz pulse point aromatherapy tube is brilliant for this).

We went PS2 game shopping the other day. Nath got Soul Calibre III (noice!) and I got Play2 and Enter the Matrix. The Matrix game isn’t too bad apart from the long load time for each new room that you enter – within the same scene!!! I can see that getting a little annoying. Play2 is fun – especially the Kung Fu game. Em would be proud! And Soul Calibre is quite spiffy. There’s some new characters with some interesting moves, and Taki and definitely much faster, if that were possible!

I have also picked up my Mandarin language mp3’s recently since we are thinking about going to Hong Kong next year to visit the relatives and check out Disneyland (that’s my plan anyway)… under the guise of culture viewing and mad shopping! Virgin Atlantic have a pretty good deal through work so I am hoping to save up some money over the next few months. That’s the plan anyway… :)

Ni hao!

Yesterday I succumbed to consumerism and just had to buy an eye toy after seeing one at a friend’s place, and justifying it to myself by telling myself it was an exercise device. I must admit, it sure is one way to jump around and move, without making anything actually feel like exercise! I will still go to the gym of course…. ;) I bought the game Play3 and also Kinetic (personal trainer one). Nath and I attempted some of the multiplayer games on Play3 (when I finally stopped giggling) and realised afterwards that intermittent photos are taken, which might just pop up later on. Just what I need – photos to remind me of my gumbiness!!! But all in all, it’s a lot of fun. I just have to find a way to get optimum light and distance within our living room. The ceiling fan tends to trigger some of the menus!

Photos have been posted in the gallery now. I won’t promise to label them though since I haven’t even done the earlier ones! Maybe one day…
