Oh, and …. 30 days to gooooooooooooo! That is all… so say we all
So… I am currently going through the second week of the ‘Couch to 5k’ running program, via treadmill at the gym. So far it seems fairly do-able and I am tempted to push myself just that little bit more, but won’t in case I over-do it and swear never to go back again. This week I have basically been running for 90 seconds and then briskly walking for 120 seconds (for about half an hour). Totally do-able. It’s actually giving me more incentive to continue with the program since I usually feel like throwing in the sweaty towel when I don’t feel like I am achieving anything. Just another 7 weeks to go, but I think next week will be the tough one since it will involve running/jogging for up to 3 minutes. We’ll see how I go. Although there is a honeymoon in the middle of that so I might need to start it all over again in the end of May.
Tonight I went to body pump again – it felt good to be out and doing stuff, and I didn’t even need Nath to be at the gym with me this time! (D&D night *grin*). I’ve started to keep a calendar of fitness to give me motivation to do as much as I can in a week, to get moving. I think it’s working so far. Well, I’ve had 2 good weeks anyway
